Emmerdale legend Lisa Riley has bravely opened up about being sober for 10 years.

Known to millions as Mandy Dingle, the star, 49, is one of the best-loved members of the Emmerdale cast. On Instagram, she revealed to fans that August 19 has seen her mark a decade of not drinking alcohol.

She posted: “This momentous day today marks a milestone, which I’m insanely proud of. I would never have believed if you had said this to me years ago as I poured another glass of Malbec. I’m 10 years sober today.
