CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WV News) — D. Andrew McMunn is usually mild-mannered and controlled while presiding over his courtroom.
It was a revelation Tuesday, then, about how that can change in a flash when the first-year circuit judge believes someone is out of order in his courtroom.
McMunn first watched as a female in the gallery tried to interject something but was quickly quieted by the lawyer for the defendant, Mark Antos of the Public Defender's Office.
But when the woman spoke out again not long after, trying to interject a comment into the hearing, McMunn roared for her to be quiet, and then did it again seconds later when she started to say something else.
McMunn then flipped a switch and went back to his calm demeanor for the remainder of the hearing for James Alfredo Clawson, a 37
