Little Compton continued to rock this weekend, staging a grand parade and turning up the volume at a music festival a day later, to help celebrate the 350th anniversary of the town’s founding.

Saturday’s LC350 procession ran from Peckham Road to Meeting House Lane, going through the Commons. Leading the pack was LC350 Queen Sidney Tynan, who with her court traveled by car at the head of the parade.

Everywhere people looked, a recognizable face could be seen on the floats or in cars. Local farmers brought out their tractors, the LC350 Committee cheered from a double-decker bus, Mickey and Minnie Mouse waved to the crowd, and marchers threw out candy to kids along the route.
