LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Ingham County prosecutor's office has dismissed one count of body mutilation for Terrance James Jones, 38, following a guilty plea to acting as an accessory to a felony after the fact.
Jones is one of three men charged in connection with the killing of Zaccari Marquise Taylor, 25, of Battle Creek, whose body was found dismembered in the basement of a Lansing home last year.
The other men, brothers Marcus Lee Hayes and Leonard Felton Hayes III, are charged with the murder and mutilation of a body.
The court also dismissed a fourth-time habitual offender notice following the guilty plea.
