Omaha Priest named Bishop of Jefferson City, Missouri

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Pope Leo XIV has appointed Reverend Ralph Bernard O’Donnell as Bishop of Jefferson City, Missouri.

According to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, Father O’Donnell is a priest of the Archdiocese of Omaha, currently serving as pastor of Saint Margaret Mary in Omaha.

Archbishop Michael McGovern of the Archdiocese of Omaha stated, “Today our Holy Father Pope Leo XIV appointed Fr. Ralph O’Donnell, a priest of the Archdiocese of Omaha and Pastor of St. Margaret Mary parish, as the fifth Bishop of Jefferson City in Missouri.
