JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - A suspect is on the run after a stabbing at a Colorado state park.

The stabbing was reported at Staunton State Park Tuesday morning. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says the suspect ran from the scene and should be considered dangerous:

What led up to the stabbing and the condition of the victim have not been released.

Anyone with information on the suspect’s whereabouts should call 911 immediately.

Staunton State Park is near Conifer, southwest of Denver.
