CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A juvenile was arrested in connection with a shooting at Palisades High School in southwest Charlotte on Monday, according to school administrators.

Principal Erik Olejarczyk said shots were fired into an empty office from the outside of the building on the school's campus on Monday. Nobody was injured in the shooting.

Broken glass from the shooting led police to investigate the area. A juvenile was arrested shortly after the shooting. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has not released any information on the investigation.

Messages were sent to parents following the incident. The first message was to notify parents about an investigation "on and around the school," and to inform them that all on-campus activities were canceled. Anyone who was on campus was se
