PORTAGE, Wis. (WMTV) - A Portage Police Department officer is accused of abusing a 6-month-old baby boy, a criminal complaint alleges.

Cameron Coronado, 32, faces potential charges of physical abuse of a child and misdemeanor disorderly conduct- domestic abuse.

The three-page criminal complaint, filed on Monday, alleges a woman recounted the alleged incident to a Sauk County detective.

The complaint cites her saying she got up to feed her 6-month-old son around 3 a.m. at their home.

The woman reported Coronado took the baby to the kitchen, and she saw him wipe blood away from the baby’s mouth. The complaint stated Coronado said he shoved the pacifier down the baby’s mouth forcefully.
