MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - A Madison man was found guilty of his seventh operating while intoxicated offense in Rock County court, the Rock County District Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday.
Ronald L. Williamson, 45, was found guilty Monday of a 7th OWI offense, obstructing and three counts of felony bail jumping.
The Rock County District Attorney’s Office explained on July 4, 2024, Williamson stopped at a stoplight in downtown Janesville in the lane for oncoming traffic.
The responding officer reported seeing Williamson switch places with his girlfriend in the car after being pulled over, Janesville Police Department said. Both Williamson and his girlfriend insisted that she had been driving the car.
