CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Cuyahoga County Jail has temporarily suspended its video visitation system because of scheduled updates, officials said Monday.

The service interruption begins today and runs through Thursday.

For members of the general public planning to visit inmates, the facility advises checking its website for current registration procedures and visitation information.

The facility will make special accommodations for attorneys who need to meet with their clients in person. Lawyers can schedule these in-person visits by sending an email to Sm-js-sheriff-zoomattorneyvisits@cuyahogacounty.gov .

Normal video visitation services are expected to resume following the completion of system updates.
