A Wisconsin-based Boy Scout troop is stuck in the U.S. Virgin Islands as Hurricane Erin barrels through the Atlantic Ocean.

Boy Scout Troop 851 Leader Ryan Schroeder said the troop has been visiting St. Thomas to test their sailing and snorkeling skills as part of what was supposed to be a week-long trip, according to CBS affiliate WDJT-TV .
