GREAT FALLS — In a Monday press release, the University of Providence announced the appointment of Dannette Swift as Interim Athletic Director for the 2025–26 academic year.

Swift succeeds Kylie Carranza, who previously served in dual leadership roles as Athletic Director and Chief of Staff. Doug Hashley, who had been Providence's AD since 2020, retired in January .

In the UP news release it stated that the school will maintain the Interim Athletic Director structure throughout the coming academic year and will evaluate the position at the end of the spring 2026 semester.
