IROQUOIS COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) -- Two juveniles were arrested on Monday after battering "several subjects," the Iroquois County Sheriff's Department said.

Deputies responded near the intersection of N. Locust St. and E. Seminary Ave. for a reported altercation. When law enforcement arrived, they arrested two juveniles; one was charged with battery, and the other was charged with aggravated battery, the Sheriff's Department said.

Both juveniles were taken to the Iroquois County Jail and later released to their guardians.

Three days earlier, the Sheriff's Department arrested a man, also accused of battery. Deputies responded to the area of Plato Bridge on Aug. 15 for a fight between two male subjects. 45-year-old David Burmeister was arrested and charged with battery. He was brought to the
