AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A man died after he was hit by a vehicle while riding on a scooter in west Austin early Monday morning, according to the Austin Police Department.

Officers responded to the crash in the 10600 block of North FM 620. The driver remained on the scene and cooperated with investigators. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, per a news release from APD.

This is now being investigated as Austin's 65th fatal crash of 2025, according to police.
