AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - It’s back to the grind for students at the University of South Carolina Aiken as the fall semester kicked off on Tuesday.

More than 3,300 students, including undergrad and graduate students, are attending USCA this semester.

“Get out there, make friends and talk to people,” said Lauren Bell, a sophomore education major. “You never know if you’re gonna meet your future best friend forever, and it’s just such a great community environment to get to know people.”

Move-in over the weekend gave students the chance to meet roommates and prep for their upcoming studies, and returning students tell us it’s like coming home.
