Some people probably think Dave Langdon is crazy. He may even admit to that assessment.

Because why else would a person in his right mind willingly volunteer to start football programs from scratch at four different Orlando-area high schools ?

He’s humble and he won’t tell you he’s a genius at startups or anything like that, but the man is fueled by football passion.

“I just like starting things from fresh I guess,” said Langdon, who recently turned 60.

It’s the passion that is mistaken for a lack of sanity, but there is no mistaking where Langdon’s heart is. He’s been giving of himself to Central Florida football and the players he has coached for 36 years and he’s not slowing down one bit.
