Utz Quality Foods is closing another factory.

The snack maker filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification with the state of Michigan. The company informed the state that it is closing the Utz manufacturing facility at 219 Canton St., SW, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and 75 people will be laid off.

The manufacturing facility will close on Jan. 30.

Spokesperson Kevin Brick said in an e-mail that “Utz has been on a tremendous growth journey in recent years, and we are continuously evaluating ways to maximize the impact of Utz’s resources and footprint.”
