KINGSTREE, S.C. (WCSC) - Kingstree Police will hold a briefing Tuesday afternoon on an arrest related to what law enforcement described as an “active situation.”

It happened on Queen Circle, Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Investigator Jalisa Brown said.

Authorities have not yet described the nature of the incident that occurred or the charges the person arrested faces.

That briefing is set to take place Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at the Kingstree Police Department.
