The Barrington High School football team opened its preseason practices late last week and continued drilling this week.

The Eagles will open the season with an Injury Fund game at East Providence High School on Thursday, Sept. 4. The game will kick off at 6 p.m.

Barrington opens the regular season schedule with a home game on Friday, Sept. 12 at 6:15 p.m. However, the game will be played at Pierce Field in East Providence, as Barrington High School’s Victory Field is expected to be under construction through the end of September or beginning of October. Crews are installing a new synthetic turf field and track at Barrington High School.

On Saturday, Sept. 20, Barrington goes on the road to play at Burrillville High School. That game will have a 1 p.m. kick-off.
