COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - The Muscogee County School District is reminding families and fans of updated safety procedures for varsity football games this season.

All attendees at Kinnett and Odis Spencer stadiums will be screened for weapons. The same measures will be in place for the Heritage Bowl at Memorial Stadium in partnership with Columbus police. Safety personnel will be stationed throughout each venue.

Students in middle school or younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at least 21 years old. No more than five students will be allowed per adult, and students without an adult will not be admitted, even with a ticket.
