OPELIKA, Ala. (WTVM) - Voting and voting accuracy on the minds of many across the country. East Alabama cities are gearing up for municipal elections happening one week from today. Opelika is just one city holding voting machine testing today to make sure machines are ready to go.

“Anyone who is a poll watcher or a citizen or a candidate can go to the meeting center and they can watch the ballots being fed into the machines and also read the results that come out and make sure that everything is matching and lining up,” said Councilman Todd Rauch.
