A Pennsylvania man will serve nearly a decade in prison after pleading guilty to distributing child pornography online, according to the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office.
Earl Burford, 47, is accused of using the instant messaging application known as Kik to share and receive photos depicting child sexual abuse, officials explained.

Investigators explained that they were able to start with a suspect username on the app to backtrack and find his email address and IP address that ultimately matched Burford.
Burford was arrested and charged by criminal complaint in September of 2024 before being charged based off of information revealed in March of 2025, officials said.
He was charged with distribut
