MACON, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says they’re still investigating why someone fired shots outside a crowded North Macon Waffle House early Saturday.

Viewers told 13WMAZ it happened around 12:10 a.m. Saturday outside the Waffle House at 6220 Zebulon Road. They said the diner was full of teens who’d attended Friday’s Howard-Westside football game.

By email and messages, viewers told us that shots were fired from the parking lot and that customers hid inside the Waffle House.

13WMAZ has been requesting details from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office on the shooting since Saturday.

By email, they said, “No one was injured, and the incident did not happen on the property of Waffle House.”

They also said no property was damaged.
