LAWRENCE, Indiana — Court documents reveal new details into a shooting that happened Aug. 3 in the parking lot of a Lawrence Walmart.

According to the Lawrence Police Department , officers were called to the Walmart located at 10735 Pendleton Pike on a report of a person shot.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds to the base of his neck and right shoulder.

According to court documents, the wounded man was planning to sell marijuana.

The documents allege Cameron Byrd got into the man's car with an accomplice. The man was then shot and the suspects left his car and drove off in another car.

The man was transported to a local hospital in stable condition, police said.
