CORVALLIS — Jade Carey is back at Oregon State .

After completing her final year of eligibility on the mat, the OSU gymnastics legend and U.S. Olympic star is joining the Beavers as a student assistant coach.

“This program has meant so much to me throughout my career and I am grateful to remain in a place that feels like home,” Carey said in a press release. “I’m excited to help the team and coaches however I can and look forward to seeing what this group can accomplish in the future.”

Carey, 25, is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and three-time gold medalist at the World Championships. She competed with the Beavers from 2021-25, mixing in trips to major international competitions along the way.
