A two-vehicle crash on U.S. 97 near milepost 145 in Deschutes County killed one driver and sent six others to the hospital — including four passengers ages 17, 14, 11, and 9 — on Thursday.
Oregon State Police responded to the crash at 9:49 p.m. and found a silver Honda Accord that had crossed the center line and struck a southbound silver Honda Odyssey.
Felicia Devin Nicholson, 33, of Bend, who was driving the Accord, died at the scene. Earl Leone Christison IV, 46, of Oregon City, the Odyssey driver, was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Erin Ruth Christison, 45, of Oregon City, was transported with serious injuries. Four girls who were passengers in the Odyssey, ages 17, 14, 11, and 9, were also taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
