LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) — A woman faces drug and weapon charges after a man was shot outside a Lincoln gas station.

According to court records, 38-year-old Shantell Ford was arrested for possession of firearm by a prohibited person, and distribution of a controlled substance near a school.

According to court records, Lincoln Police and Lincoln Fire and Rescue were called to the NP Mart at 28th and O streets on report of a 39-year-old man who was shot in the leg on June 27 around 2:15 a.m.

LPD said the video also showed a woman, later identified as 37-year-old Lucretia Bryson , get into the vehicle before leaving the scene. Investigators said Bryson demanded money from the victim before shooting him in the leg once it was clear he wouldn’t hand anything over.
