ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The search for 80-year-old Lawrence Thomas is pulling in multiple agencies as he was last seen walking near his mailbox Sunday evening in southern Albemarle County.

Albemarle County Sheriff Chan Bryant said that, given the combination of the rural area in which he went missing and his dementia, they are tapping into a wide range of resources to try to find him
