SMYRNA, Tenn. (WSMV) - The son of Todd and Julie Chrisley is filing a lawsuit against Rutherford County and two deputies over an arrest in 2024.

Kyle Chrisley, whose reality TV show parents from ‘Chrisley Knows Best’ were recently pardoned by President Donald Trump, is seeking $1.7 million following his arrest in Murfreesboro.

The federal suit alleges that Kyle was falsely arrested by deputies instead of the “disgruntled mechanic” who “kicked at their doors, threatened violence, and used his car as a weapon by ramming their SUV and nearly running Kyle over in front of multiple neighbors.”
