A man accused of killing three people in a car cash in September 2024 on U.S. Highway 6 near Palisade has pleaded guilty to three counts of vehicular homicide, according to court documents.
Patrick Sneddon, 59, was behind the wheel of a Jeep that slammed into two Colorado Department of Transportation workers, Nathan Jones and Trenton Umberger, killing both, along with Kathi Wallace, a passenger in the Jeep.
Jones and Umberger had been walking back to their vehicle after doing work along the highway when they were struck by Sneddon's vehicle that went off the roadway, according to the arrest affidavit.
Sneddon was arrested in December after an investigation by the Colorado State Patrol. Police said he had THC in his system at the time of the crash.
