Iam writing to express my strong opposition to the proposed data center in our county. This project raises serious public health and environmental concerns that cannot be ignored.

Air quality and public health risks

Data centers are not clean neighbors. Across the country, residents near these facilities report noxious odors, often described as burning or smoke. These emissions are not only unpleasant—they are dangerous.

Fine particulate matter (PM₂.₅) and nitrogen oxides from data centers are well-established to worsen asthma, COPD and heart disease, increase cancer risk and contribute to premature death. The Harvard Six Cities Study and the American Cancer Society’s long-term research found there is no safe level of exposure to these pollutants.
