FARGO — It was the culmination of years of work at Hector International Airport as city, state, and federal officials cut the ribbon on the new parking ramp.
Sen. John Hoeven, Fargo Mayor Tim Mahoney, and representatives of McGough Construction thanked the hard work of everyone involved in building the massive, four-story ramp, which adds 1,000 parking spaces to the airport.
Municipal Airport Authority Chair Paula Ekman led the ceremony and says the climate-controlled walkway that will take travelers from the ramp to the airport is still being finished.
In all, the parking ramp project cost $47 million.
City officials say they are excited to finally be able to reach this milestone in the airport expa
