MINOT, ND (KXNET) — On Tuesday, anyone looking for some fresh produce at their local farmer's market may have gotten more than they bargained for, as the Minot Farmers Market hosted its second annual Homesteading Fest at Oak Park.

This interactive experience brought out local experts who have information on anything and everything related to sustainable living.

There were lessons on how to make sourdough bread, tips on plotting out your own garden, and experts touching on topics from bee-keeping to canning and fermenting.
