ANN ARBOR, MI — A four-story apartment building has been added to plans for the Broadway Park West development along the Huron River in Ann Arbor.

The city’s Planning Commission voted 8-0 Tuesday night, Aug. 19, to approve the additional 22-unit building with 973-square-feet of ground-floor commercial space, within the same footprint as an originally planned one-story commercial building.

“This is excellent that you are inching up,” Commissioner Sarah Mills told the developer.

The additional apartments to be built include six two-bedroom units and 16 one-bedroom units.

Eighteen are to be designated as affordable housing for low-income households.
