It feels as if rookie receivers Tre’ Harris and KeAndre Lambert-Smith keep making plays every day, whether it's in practice or in the preseason.

But it's far from a coincidence, says Chargers Offensive Coordinator Greg Roman .

It's a product of the work and progress the pair of young wideouts have displayed in their first NFL training camp.

"It doesn't happen overnight, but it happens 0.1 percent point at a time," Roman said on Tuesday. "Those guys are working at it."

The pair each had their moments so far in training camp and the preseason, but it came to a head last Saturday when they combined for eight catches for 151 yards against the Rams .
