SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- An early Tuesday morning shooting in San Francisco's Mission District that led to two arrests may have stemmed from a possible robbery, according to police.
San Francisco Police Department said its officers went to the area of 9th and Mission streets at 2:09 a.m. to investigate the report of a shooting but weren't able to find any victims.
Police said witness tips soon helped them locate two potential suspects inside a nearby building on the 1300 block of Mission Street. One man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound was taken to a local hospital while the other man was detained by police for questioning.
