ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A judge denied bond Tuesday morning for a 17-year-old girl charged with murdering her mother and stepfather in Carroll County.

Sarah Grace Patrick is accused of killing her mother, 41-year-old Kristin Brock, and her stepfather, 45-year-old James Brock, in their home in February.

Judge Dustin Hightower denied bond for Patrick after weighing emotional testimony he heard Tuesday morning. Hightower determined Patrick could be a danger to the community, including to close family members, could potentially manipulate or influence witnesses, and would have the ability to flee.
