CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A Cuyahoga County grand jury has indicted 24-year-old Aaron Sharp for killing his 82-year-old grandfather and his 22-year-old brother, as well as shooting and injuring two East Cleveland police officers.
The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office said on August 7, around 11 p.m., the East Cleveland Police Department (ECPD) responded to a domestic dispute at a residence near Taylor and Terrace Roads.
When they got on scene, a family member said Aaron Sharp had shot and killed two relatives and was outside holding a gun. Inside the residence, officers found his brother Erik Sharp dead and his grandfather Charlie Roscoe with gunshot wounds.
Two officers located Sharp outside. When Sharp saw them, he shot them, injuring both officers, and then fled the scene on foot.
