TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The state of Florida has been sending resources to Taylor County to assist with disaster preparedness.
The Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) is deploying a team to record what roads in Florida look like before a disaster to help with recovery after a major storm, according to a Facebook post from the Taylor County Division of Emergency Management (DEM).
Debris Tech, a storm debris removal company, is starting to video roads in Taylor County to prepare for the next storm season. They are also recording roads in Jefferson County , according to the area’s emergency management.
The company is under contract with the Florida Division of Emergency Management. It drives cars like this with 360-degree cameras attached. They will help record a baseline
