Oklahoma will be rolling out a new job requirement for teachers coming from the blue states of New York and California to weed out “radical leftist ideology."
Oklahoma public schools superintendent Ryan Walters said Monday that public school teachers from New York and California will be required to pass an exam administered by conservative nonprofit PragerU before receiving a state certification, the Associated Press reported.
“As long as I am superintendent, Oklahoma classrooms will be safeguarded from the radical leftist ideology fostered in places like California and New York,” Walters said in a statement to AP.
