LANCASTER COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Lancaster County officials say they're nearly done installing vape detectors on some of their campuses. They've already put them into schools in the Kershaw and Indian Land areas.

Two middle schools and a high school in Lancaster are set to be finished by the end of September.

"Some training will take place, and so we hope that everything will be fully functional before the winter break. Hopefully sooner rather than later. But we hope to be able to give an update prior to that," said Lancaster County School District Director of Communications Elizabeth Bryant.
