LAFAYETTE, Ind. —

An Indiana woman is facing federal charges after she allegedly threatened to kill President Donald Trump.

Nathalie Jones, 50, was arrested in Washington, D.C. on Aug. 16.

The Lafayette woman was arrested after participating in a protest near the White House.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says Jones made threats to kill President Trump on her Facebook between Aug. 2-9.

Court records say Jones made other posts about wanting Trump removed from his role.

During a voluntary interview with the U.S. Secret Service, Jones said President Trump was a "terrorist" and "Nazi." She also told officials during the interview that she would kill President Trump at "the compound" if she had to.
