Jeffrey Wright and Octavia Spencer are set to bring an iconic play to life on the big screen!

Death of a Salesman is a classic play first released in 1949 by American playwright Arthur Miller . The play first ran on Broadway in 1949 and 1950 for a total of over 740 performances before being revived on Broadway for five additional runs.

Now, a new movie adaptation is in the works with the 59-year-old Highest 2 Lowest actor and 55-year-old Ma actress set to play the lead roles.

Jeffrey will be playing the role of Willy Loman while Octavia will play his wife, Linda Loman. Deadline shared the news of the upcoming film adaptation on Tuesday (August 19).

The publication reports that the movie will be directed by Chinonye Chukwu and is in production at Focus Featur
