The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, highlighted the preventive work carried out by the Public Ministry to combat the scourge of human trafficking, whose victims are primarily women and adolescents who are sexually exploited.

During the closing ceremony of the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons commemorative event at the Public Prosecutor's Office, Prosecutor Saab explained that this type of crime has several implications for multiple associated offenses, including torture, cruel, inhuman, and degrading treatment, and even murder.
