Latin American leaders and authorities react to the U.S. military deployment in the Caribbean Sea and advocate for respect for the sovereignty of their peoples.

In response to the US military operation in the southern Caribbean Sea to allegedly combat drug trafficking, and in response to the accusations and threats against the Venezuelan president, presidents and high-ranking officials from the region have spoken out against Washington's blatant interventionism in South America.
