A significant shipment of 226 doses of the yellow fever vaccine arrived in the country from the Russian Federation, to be distributed to health centers throughout the country.
The medical batch arrived at the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, La Guaira state, and was received by Dr. Luz Rodríguez, Deputy Minister of Public Health of the Ministry of People's Power for Health (MinSalud).
This vaccine delivery marks another step in bilateral cooperation and compliance with the national government's guidelines for strengthening the National Immunization Plan (PAI), designed to expand vaccination coverage in all communities and reinforce protective barriers against various diseases, according to a press release from the Ministry of Health.
