NELSON COUNTY, Ky. —
A Nelson County woman accused of trying to kill her mother and her mother's boyfriend by setting a house on fire has been ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation.
Sarah Shelburne was arraigned Tuesday on murder, arson, and other charges.
Court records say she poured two bottles of rubbing alcohol onto a dresser and clothes, then used a lighter to ignite them.
Shelburne's mother and her mother's boyfriend were inside at the time of the fire. They both made it out safely.
Shelburne remains in jail on a $1 million bond.
