LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Community activists say they want to stop a religious group from offering optional religious instruction in Oldham County .
Under Kentucky’s Senate Bill 19, public school boards can partner with organizations that offer student instruction through religious or ethical programs. Parents who sign off can let their students join the outside partner during the school day for “moral instruction.”
