BOYS RANCH, Texas (KFDA) - The Boys Ranch Roughriders are full steam ahead in 2025.
“It’s been the best fall camp I’ve had since we’ve been here,” third-year head coach Louis Kelley III said. “We preach about being a family and that’s one thing that they’re big on.”
Players can feel the vibe shift too.
“I’ve been on other teams that have been here, but I feel like this is a different group,” junior quarterback Isaac Acosta said. “If we trust each other we can go deep into the playoffs.”
But good vibes will only get you so far. The Roughriders know that, and they’ve learned hard work wins in the end.
“Our work ethic gotta be way better than the last seasons in order for us to even try to place in the playoffs,” senior running back Gavin Elbersh said.
