SANFORD-FRITCH, Texas (KFDA) - First-year head coach Brandon Bennett and the Sanford-Fritch Eagles are ready to hit the football field for the 2025 season.

Sanford-Fritch ISD ventured out of the Panhandle to bring in Coach Bennett, but he already had an understanding of what the Eagles are all about.

“I had a buddy that had worked here, and him and I every day, we used to talk about this community,” Bennett says.

Just Year 1 of the Brandon Bennett era for the Sanford-Fritch Eagles football team, and even in the early stages — coach is already making an impact on the players.

“He’s good, he pushes us, he builds us up in the weight room, he’s what we’ve been needing,” says senior Rocky Ferguson.
